One of New Zealand’s most accoladed wineries, Church Road is renowned for being the first in New Zealand to craft exceptional quality Bordeaux-style red wine as well as pioneering the Hawke’s Bay wine industry.

Founded in 1897 on the same site that it stands today, Church Road believes excellence is born through the artistry of mastering the details and knowing when to trust your instinct.

Church Road wines are meticulously crafted to achieve excellence and use fruit from the best vineyards in Hawke's Bay, along with a small selection of exceptional Central Otago Pinot Noir. The triumvirate of wines includes Chardonnay, Syrah and Cabernet Merlot from vineyards in the Tuki Tuki Valley, Gimblett Gravels and Bridge Pa Triangle. At the very apex of Church Road wines is TOM, the pinnacle wine range and is only produced in outstanding vintages.

Church Road is committed to sustainable practices and 100% of grapes sourced in New Zealand from our directly managed vineyards, and grower vineyards, are certified under the Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand (SWNZ) scheme.
