Ted Whitaker

Ted Whitaker is an artist who works largely with photography and publication.
Coming from a background in surf culture, he started in the print world making DIY surf zines which led to Black Wax Press – a sporadic photo book project. Black Wax Press usually works with artists to make books near the cross-overs of art and fashion design.
Ted works as a photographer at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington, is a trustee of the Aotearoa Digital Arts Network, and runs a small-scale wetsuit project called Cold Wave.
